Defender Signs Two-Year Deal

Jamal Amofa Extends Stay in Deventer

Dutch professional football club Go Ahead Eagles has announced that defender Jamal Amofa has signed a two-year contract extension. The new deal will see Amofa remain with the club until the summer of 2024.

Amofa, 24, has been an integral part of Go Ahead Eagles' defense since joining the club in 2021. He has made a total of 45 appearances for the team, scoring one goal. In the current Eredivisie season, Amofa has played in 18 matches and has been a key figure in the team's successful campaign.

Go Ahead Eagles manager Kees van Wonderen expressed his delight at Amofa's contract extension. "Jamal is a talented and dedicated player who has proven his worth to the team," van Wonderen said. "He is a valuable asset to our squad, and we are delighted to have secured his services for the next two years."

Amofa expressed his happiness at signing a new contract with Go Ahead Eagles. "I am very happy to be staying with the club," Amofa said. "I feel at home here, and I believe in the direction that the team is heading. I am excited to continue playing my part in the success of Go Ahead Eagles."
